Sheilds and Sang M3 medium supports the growth of cells from Drosophila, both primary and established Drosophila cell lines. This product does not contain potassium bicarbonate. Most Drosophila cell culture media must be supplemented with 5-20% heated fetal bovine serum (FBS).
