Nucleus. Cytoplasm.
Su(H) family
Transcriptional regulator that plays a central role in Notch signaling, a signaling pathway involved in cell-cell communication that regulates a broad spectrum of cell-fate determinations. Binds directly the 5'-GTGRGAR-3' DNA consensus sequence, which is present in the regulatory region of several genes. Acts as a transcriptional repressor when it is not associated with Notch proteins. When associated with some Notch protein, it acts as a transcriptional activator that activates transcription of Notch target genes. Required for transcription of Sim. Specifically binds to the immunoglobulin kappa-type J segment recombination signal sequence. Required for neurogenesis in imaginal disks. In the larval brain, might play a role as a transducer of Notch signaling during type II neuroblast development. Also functions independently of the Notch pathway, in the development of the bristle sensory organ precursor cell.

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20 °C/-80 °C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing ways or locations, please kindly consult us for specific delivery times.
Store at -20 °C/-80 °C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for multiple use.
The shelf life is related to many factors, including storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature, and the stability of the protein itself. Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20 °C/-80 °C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20 °C/-80 °C.
Repeated freezing and thawing are not recommended.
This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Store working aliquots at 4 °C for up to one week.
