Parp; CG40411; Poly [ADP-ribose] polymerase; PARP; EC 2.4.2.30; NAD(+) ADP-ribosyltransferase; ADPRT; Poly[ADP-ribose] synthase; Protein ADP-ribosyltransferase Parp; EC 2.4.2.-
Nucleus. Chromosome. Nucleus, nucleolus.
Poly-ADP-ribosyltransferase that mediates poly-ADP-ribosylation of proteins and plays a key role in DNA repair. Mediates glutamate, aspartate or serine ADP-ribosylation of proteins: the ADP-D-ribosyl group of NAD(+) is transferred to the acceptor carboxyl group of target residues and further ADP-ribosyl groups are transferred to the 2'-position of the terminal adenosine moiety, building up a polymer with an average chain length of 20-30 units. Mainly mediates glutamate and aspartate ADP-ribosylation of target proteins in absence of CG1218/HPF1. Following interaction with CG1218/HPF1, catalyzes serine ADP-ribosylation of target proteins; CG1218/HPF1 conferring serine specificity by completing the Parp active site.; Plays a fundamental role in organizing chromatin on a global scale. Autoregulates Parp transcription by influencing the chromatin structure of its heterochromatic environment.

We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Please reconstitute protein in deionized sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.We recommend to add 5-50% of glycerol (final concentration) and aliquot for long-term storage at -20 °C/-80 °C. Our default final concentration of glycerol is 50%. Customers could use it as reference.
Delivery time may differ from different purchasing ways or locations, please kindly consult us for specific delivery times.
Store at -20 °C/-80 °C upon receipt, aliquoting is necessary for multiple use.
The shelf life is related to many factors, including storage state, buffer ingredients, storage temperature, and the stability of the protein itself. Generally, the shelf life of liquid form is 6 months at -20 °C/-80 °C. The shelf life of lyophilized form is 12 months at -20 °C/-80 °C.
Repeated freezing and thawing are not recommended.
This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Store working aliquots at 4 °C for up to one week.
